Dao (Korean: 다오; Dao) is the main protagonist of the Crazy Arcade series. A resident of Boom Hill, he goes on many adventures with his friends as he strives to become a great superhero. He first debuted in Crazy Arcade [KOR] and has made appearances in nearly every video game title of the series since. Dao has also appeared in television shows, comics, and other media.

Attributes[edit]

Physical appearance[edit]

Dao is a boy dressed in a blue suit. His helmet, which has a large round bump over each of his ears, covers his head entirely except for his face. Two dark helmet marks border his face at the top corners. He typically is shown as having two long, black eyes and angry, black eyebrows. His mouth is usually hidden, unless he uses an Emotion. Over his torso is a belt with a circular buckle. Its strap runs from Dao's left shoulder to his right hip. Dao also wears white gloves and blue shoes, though his arms and legs are left exposed.

In DaoBazzi Boom Hill Uproar, Dao's appearance is slightly modified, with fuller eyes, blushed cheeks, and a constantly present mouth.

Personality[edit]

Dao is portrayed as friendly and somewhat of a goodie-two-shoes.[1] At the same time, however, he is very ambitious and can be quite restless at times, putting him at the risk of danger.[2][3] He has a strong sense of justice, which fuels his goal to become a superhero. Dao's dedication toward constantly improving his skill is reflected by his eagerness to battle.[1]

Relatives[edit]

Dao's father makes an appearance in Crazy Arcade: Offline Battle.
